Car shopping in the age of COVID-19 has presented some challenges. Schomp Hyundai’s Schomp@Home has made online shopping as easy as possible. And the recommendation of experts has come to mean more than ever before.

That’s why we’re so pleased that four of our current Hyundai models have been recognized as being the best in their segments: two by Autotrader, two by U.S. News & World Report and one by Good Housekeeping.

Palisade & Sonata Among “The 12 Best Cars” for 2020

  • The 2020 Hyundai Palisade was rated the “Best Midsize SUV” by Autotrader – among its “12 Best New Cars for 2020.” “The Hyundai Palisade strikes the perfect balance between an affordable volume car and a premium luxury car. Hyundai has stepped up its game big time, emerging as a modern automaker delivering style, features, and value, all in one attractive package,” is how Autotrader describes the 2020 Palisade.
  • The 2020 Hyundai Sonata earned the “Best Midsize Sedan” designation from Autotrader, which said, “Its redesign brought with it a stunning new look, a roomy, premium interior, and a generous list of standard features, plus some interesting available tech in the higher trims.”

Of course, we agree with both of these descriptions from Autotrader, which describes itself as “the most recognized third-party car listings brand … the foremost authority on automotive consumer insights …”

Ioniq and Kona Electric Among “The Best Green Cars”

Two Hyundai models won top billing in U.S. News and World Report’s “Best Green Cars” rankings, based on quality, value and efficiency.

  • The 2020 Hyundai Ioniq won U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Hybrid Car” award. It “returns an impressive 58 mpg in combined city/highway driving, which is the highest of any hybrid car,” the publication pointed out, and “it has an attractive cabin built with eco-friendly materials, easy-to-use tech and plenty of space for luggage…”
  • The 2020 Hyundai Kona Electric is U.S. News & World Report’s “Best Electric Vehicle.” It adds this award to two recognitions it won previously, the 2020 Kelley Blue Book Best Buy Award in the electric car category and designation by TopGear as “one of the greatest electric vehicles.” The Kona EV has an EPA-estimate range of 258 miles and an MPG-e rating of 120. It also comes with an impressive array of technology.

Hyundai Venue Is Tiny but Mighty

Good Housekeeping is the venerable family publication that has set standards for quality in many different areas for decades. And now Good Housekeeping calls the 2020 Hyundai Venue its “Best Subcompact SUV” for 2020.

GH explains “Why We Love It: It’s an ultra wallet-friendly pick that’s nimble on tight city streets, yet feels roomy for its size.” Specifically, the 2020 Hyundai Venue, “is practical with its stack of standard safety tech features and responsive, intuitive infotainment system. Our testers were pleasantly surprised by the ample passenger space in the front and suitable spacing in the rear.”

Coloradans understand and appreciate value, and Hyundai stands for value in so many ways: value in quality, value in safety and innovation, value in efficiency.
