2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz – a Small Pickup Truck with Big Features

Now Hyundai has an alternative for drivers who love the pickup truck look, just in a smaller version: The 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz – it’s Hyundai’s first-ever Sports Adventure Vehicle.

The Santa Cruz, built on the Tucson SUV platform, is more than a foot shorter than traditional trucks. It can tow respectable loads and, while not an off-road vehicle, manages well in some pretty gnarly conditions. And it can carry a lot of gear in its cargo bed, which has some cool features. Safety

The 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz comes with impressive safety technology, including a rearview camera, forward collision-avoidance assist with pedestrian detection, lane-keeping assist, and lane-following assist, rear occupant alert, and driver attention warning. On SEL and above versions, add blind-spot collision-avoidance assist and safe exit warning, rear cross-traffic collision avoidance assist. The Limited version brings highway driving assist and intelligent speed limit assist, as well as blind-spot view, and surround view monitor. The Limited has smart Cruise control with stop and go.

Technology

There’s plenty of technological whizbang built into the 2022 Hyundai Santa Cruz. The SE, SEL, and SEL Premium all come with an 8-inch color touchscreen display audio system with six speakers. Go up to Limited, and you’ll get a 10.25-inch high-res touchscreen nav system and Bose® 8-speaker audio system. All trim levels are Apple CarPlay® and Android Auto™ compatible. SEL Premium and Limited give you wireless charging and the Hyundai Digital Key. Dynamic voice recognition comes in the Limited version.
